Luminescent separator LS-OD-4-04N

Separator LS-OD-4-04N is designed for pre-final and final upgrading metal content of dry concentrate with size: –5 + 2 mm, –2 + 1 mm, and –1 + 0.5 mm.
The principle of operation of the separator is based on the property of diamonds to luminesce under the action of X-rays and the difference of these properties in diamonds and associated luminescent minerals.
The separator is a one-stage, eight-groove one. Excitation is pulsed. Excitation and recording areas are mutually spaced.
Recording is amplitude-time. The number of recording channels is eight.
Diamonds are separated into concentrate with the help of compressed air by special cutoffs.
The feed bin, outlets of tail and concentrate compartments are fitted with flanges for linking to the factory processing lines (it is possible to install collectors of tails and concentrates instead of outlets to the factory processing lines).
The separator consists of a sorting machine (SM) and an automatic control column (ACC).
The separator is powered from a 3-phase AC network 380 V, 50 Hz. The power consumption does not exceed 4 kVA.
The separator is operated at the temperature from +10 to +35° С at relative humidity up to 80% for ACC, up to 100% for SM.
The housing of the sorting machine ensures full protection of personnel from X-rays.
